Williamsburg

Updated: May 27, 2019

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

For this weekend my partner and I decided to be a tourist in our own city. We headed over to Williamsburg to explore the hipster borough of Brooklyn.

In Williamsburg we explored the Mini Mall where they have boutiques, book stores, and custom jewelry.

And had some Mediterranean ice cream at the Republic of Booza.

We also explored Junk - a warehouse full of antiques, paintings, ceramics, furniture, and even some clothes.

For this adventure I made McCall's pattern #M7356 view B. The fabric is from Mood Fabrics called Un dia en Andorra in black/ white cotton poplin.

This shirt is so comfy and flattering for a larger chest. It features a neckline facing, invisible center back zipper, and tie at the waist.

As we were exploring the streets we came across some awesome street art that complimented the print perfectly:

We walked the neighborhood and ended at the Brooklyn Barge for some drinks.

All-in-all we had a great time in Williamsburg!
