The summer months are some of my favorite; I've always loved having a summer birthday. I also love the berry color chosen as my logo. I have a favorite nail polish color called OPI Ate Berries in the Canaries that I based this color on. And when I saw this fabric from Fashion Fabrics Club in White/Magenta Quilt Block Cotton Lawn I knew I had to have it.
I chose to make a wrap dress to go along with my favorite things. I chose McCalls M8036 Sasha Dress and sewed view C with a button front closure. I love how large the print is and originally thought of doing a v-neck maxi dress, but who can say no to a good wrap dress?
