Exhibits - Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & the Catholic Imagination

The first Monday in May, also known as "fashion's biggest night out", consists of the Met Gala; a fundraising event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City in honor of the museum's costume institute.
In honor of this event I have decided to publish a different museum fashion exhibition every week for the month of May.
For the first post for Museum May I wanted to showcase last year's exhibit and theme for the Met Gala: Heavenly Bodies. The exhibit featured angelic gowns and heavenly beaded ensembles all the way to sleek and conservative religious dresses.
